On Friday we had our Assembly and we farewelled Sarah with a shared lunch.

Whanau STEAM challenge

Well done to Kereru Whanau, for using great ideas and working well together, to make a tower out of newspaper that would hold a basketball!

Wig Wednesday

We enjoyed fund raising for child cancer by supporting Wig Wednesday.

Working and identifying rocks

Today we identified some rocks that Molly brought along to school.

We also had a go at being archeologists trying to find the dinosaur bones.

Zach made an experiment to show us how to make a larva lamp.
It worked really well.

Aria showed us some shells that she found on holiday.
One had a fossil of a starfish in it.

 Jessica told us the difference between crocodiles and alligators.

Harold

We had a great time with Harold on Wednesday and Friday. We were looking at how much fat and sugar are in different foods and what is a good choice to eat.
