We had a lot of fun on Friday making shoes with newspaper and tape. It was great to hear all the ideas being discussed. 

Congratulations

Well done to Jimmy, Nash, Thomas and George for a very successful cricket season.
Jimmy won Batter of the Year and Best Player using a semi-soft ball.
Nash and Thomas both won Bowler of the Year.
George won won Most Valuable Player. Congratulations.

Science News

We had some great Science news in Room 5 today.
Scarlett showed us her new Animal book, Sarah showed us her rubbery egg that she soaked in vinegar and Miach showed us the two crabs he found at Brighton Beach.

Our Simple Lunch

On Friday we had a simple lunch and raised money for South Sudan as part of our Caritas focus.

Our Church visit

Today we visited the Church to learn what a Lectern was.

Maths

Today we were making numbers using a lot of different materials.

Miach's Science News

Today Miach showed us what happened in a plant eating dinosaurs stomach. Stones rub together to break down the leaves.

Swimming

The last day of swimming was a lot of fun.

Our Butterfly

Today we saw our butterfly come out of its chrysalis- well spotted Annabella!
It dried out and then just before swimming decided to be an earring for Mrs Stevens.
We discovered it was a female butterfly.

Player of the Day

Well done to Nash for winning Player of the Day for Flippa Ball.
He saved lots of goals.
