On Friday we celebrated Catholic Schools Day by having lunch together in our Whanau groups and then we had a fun afternoon of games.

Can Ben blow out the candle?

Ben had us thinking today. He put a lit candle behind a container and then he tried to blow the candle out from in front of the container. Do you think he could blow out the candle?

Year 3 RE

In Religious Education we have been learning about the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Here are some posters the children have made. The children might like to tell you what the nine fruits are.

Science News

Finn showed us how oil and water do not mix. He put them both in a container and we saw the oil floating around. Then we put them together in a jar and the oil floated to the top. Cool science news Finn.

Singing with Michael Mangan

Today we had Michael Mangan perform for us. It was great that we knew alot of the songs and we had the opportunity to learn some new ones as well.

James showed us how air can flip a card over even with a coin sitting on top of it.

Caitlin made soda stream and mixed it with flavouring. We saw lots of bubbles.

Working together

We have been working together to make our fabulous dinosaur.
