Soccer tournament

Well done to Jimmy, Thomas and Luke who won their final at the Soccer tournament at Sunnyvale on Sunday. And also well done to Miach who also got into the final.

Whanau Hui

A big "thank you" to all of those who could come to the Whanau hui last night. It was a great evening and I hope you enjoyed seeing and hearing about the learning throughout the school. Thank you to the PTA for a fabulous meal especially to Brad Gilmore who cooked all of the meat patties.

Science News

Zach showed us how the fat in the milk went to the dish washing liquid on the cotton bud and pushed the food colouring away to make a picture. 





Nash told us some really interesting facts from his book. 
Did you know that a blue whale's tongue weighs more than an elephant and 
lemons contain more sugar than strawberries.

Luke was very lucky to be chosen to run out onto the field at the Highlanders rugby game on Saturday.

Jamie showed us his book about the weather.
Thomas has planted a swan plant seed for us to grow at school.
Scarlett brought along an indoor spider plant for us to grow at school.
And Max showed us how his volcano worked.
