First day of swimming

Well done Room 5 - a great first day of swimming.

School Assembly

On Friday we had our School Assembly.
Room 5 showed their profile pictures. Come and have a look at them in the classroom.

Swimming roster

Here is the swimming roster for next week. 
Just so you are aware- your child might be put with a different class and so have to walk at a different time. 

The children are assessed on Monday and we find out the groups on Tuesday so the roster might change a wee bit.

Caterpillar News

One of our caterpillars isn't too well but the other one turned into a chrysalis so quickly -we missed it!!

Thank you Molly and family for sharing a caterpillar with us. I was a bit worried our first one wasn't very well but luckily he or she seems to be chomping away now.

Have a Go Day

We had a great day in at the "Have a Go Day" today at the Edgar Stadium. The children had a go at Rugby, Football, Hockey, Netball, Basketball, and Gymnastics. I was very proud of a very well behaved group of children. Well done. 
Thank you to all of our helpers today and to the Staffords for a wee treat at the end of the session.

Tug-o-war

This morning we had our tug-o-war whanau competition. It was a hard competition but well done to Kereru for taking the win.
