Soccer

The children had a lot of fun and learnt a lot with their first day of soccer skills.

Science News

Sofia had us thinking about which mandarin would float- the one with skin on or the one which had been peeled.

Kael told us all about static electricity.

Mya showed us how a potato can float and what happens when you add salt.

Science News

Olivia showed us the planets she made out of plasticine. They were all different colours and different sizes.
Cameron explained to us that Mercury was travelling in front of the sun which will not happen again until 2019 and then in 2032.
Suzanne showed us how a bottle of water could change the direction of an arrow!! Ask how it was done.

On the way back from golf we had some leaf fun!

Player of the Day

Congratulations to Jackson who won Player of the Day for his rugby team on Saturday.

Safety gear

Today we had a look at the safety gear a policeman has to carry on his uniform and the gear in a police car.
We also talked about what keeps us safe in a car and on the road.



Remembering ANZAC Day

On Friday each class showed how we remembered ANZAC day and the soldiers that went to war and those that died for us.

Today we had a lesson about road safety and walking safely with Constable Sommerfield.

Arden showed us a very cool model of the planets. Phillip told us all about how fossils are formed and Logan explained how to make stones glow in the dark.
