Athletics

Carrots!

We planted the carrot seeds before Christmas last year. Look at how big they grew!!!

The Drama group put on a great play for us today.

Caritas

We are slowly covering up the letters for our money trail for Caritas but we still have a few letters to go!

Highland dancing

Ruby did very well in her Highland dance competition in the weekend. She showed us the special shoes she wears for the different dances.

Lucky Tom

Tom was very lucky in the weekend and he ran out with Number 3 for the Highlanders game. He also got a flag.

Swimming

The children are having fun at swimming as well as learning a lot.

The Philippines

A big "Thank you" to Ben's parents Paul and Aline for coming and talking to us about the typhoons in the Philippines. We really found the talk interesting and when they told us of their experiences of flooding it makes it very real.

Tom the Market Gardener

Duathlon

Thanks Mrs Matheson for organising the duathlon. The children had alot of fun.

Our fabulous butterflies

It was time to let our butterflies go on Friday.

At last!

Great news.Today our butterfly arrived. She took a dive but we got her back onto the swan plant.

Rainbow colours

Science news

Today Lucas showed us how static electricity can lift hair, paper and it can even move a drink can.

Caritas

We were very lucky to have three Caritas speakers come and talk to us on Thursday. Our focus for Lent is to raise funds for the Philippines who have had some very severe typhoons. Today we started our class coin trail.

Tryathlon

We had five children who participated in this weekend's Tryathlon. Oak did the whole tryathlon on his own and Ciarstyn, Charlotte, Keira and Holly were part of a team.

Mrs Evans' butterfly

Mrs Evans' was going to have a lovely surprise on Monday - On Sunday I saw that her butterfly had just hatched and it was drying its wings.
