Weekend Fun!

Thor and I played at Carisbrook before the All Blacks played. Four teams got chosen to play. We didn’t play first. We won our game, so did the All Blacks. The Wales team lost. I got a wiggly tooth because I hit the white and blue posts when I was scoring a try. I felt good in front of the crowd. It was good because the All Blacks won.

We went to Carisbrook. We played a rugby team starting with P. I dived under the post twice. The score was 14-6. Gracin, Lucas and I scored the goals. The All Blacks played after us. One of the All Blacks scored right beside the flag. I got Dan Carter’s and Richie McCaw’s signature. I felt good about scoring at Carisbrook.

Lots of progress has been made using the SRA kit for reading. The children have all been working at their own level and pace. Ask your child about some of the stories they have read.

We have been lucky to have the Life Education bus at school this week. The children have been learning about friends and how to make someone feel welcome.
