What a great day the children had at the beach yesterday, even the wind couldn't keep them out of the water. A big Thank you to the adults who came with us.

Recycling wind up

As a conclusion to our Recycling topic we have made something with a recycling message. Some children have made games, others posters. If you have time to pop in and look at them it would be great.

Athletics Day

At Athletics day the kids did long jump and lots of fun activities. I had fun in the 400 metres race.

Room 3 Assembly

Hats Galore

We had alot of fun creating our awesome hats out of newspaper and recycled things at the end of Term 3.

Term 4

Wow it is hard to believe that we are in Term 4 already. The children have come back to school with lots of enthusiasm and energy which is great to see.


It would be wonderful if you could have another go on Spelling City this term as it is a fun way of learning the weekly spelling words.

Glasses and Hat Day

Today we wore hats and glasses to raise money for people overseas to get their eyes fixed.

Art Gallery Trip

We went on a trip to the Recycling Centre. We saw cardboard getting recycled. We had lots of fun.

Maths Week

Well there have been a few frustrations with the Maths week web site but the children have all had a go at school and they have had lots of fun. The homework challenge prizes will be drawn tomorrow (Friday) so please make sure your entry is in the box by lunchtime.

Welcome back

Hi Everyone,I hope you all had a great holiday break.
We have a busy term planned with our main topic being " Recycling" which should be alot of fun.
For Maths we are finishing fractions and studying Numeracy again with an emphasis on subtraction and multiplication.
Hopefully this term the children will have an opportunity to post some things on the blog so keep looking.

Last Week of Term 2

I can't believe that Term 2 is almost finished. You have all worked really hard and done some fantastic work.

Room 3 Mass

Going to Mass today was fun for Room 3. We felt a bit nervous at the start but at the end we felt proud.

Cross Country

We have been studying "Electricity" and I thought you might like to get together with Mum or Dad to make a circuit. Try this website.

We have had lots of fun and learning with our Topic "Electricity" so far. We have used a lot of different equipment to create circuits with. Thank you for the batteries supplied they have been put to good use.

A visit from "Harold"

We had lots of fun with Harold. On Monday we learnt about the food pyramid by classifying the foods, as those from the ground, those from animals and those with ingredients. Pip taught us a song and we sang it to Harold.
On Tuesday we learnt about the digestive system and we had a great video that took us around the body.
