Congratulations to Oak who won a trophy at wrestling at his end of season breakup.

Room 5 and 6 Assembly

Here are some photos from our assembly with Room 6.

Toitu Museum and Dunedin Art Gallery Visit

At Toitu, who chose Scottish names, and pretended to be early settlers who sailed to Dunedin looking for land to farm. This theme continued at the art gallery, where we learnt about the first ships into Dunedin, before using fabric to construct our sailing ship.

We had a wonderful day and the art looks amazing hanging up in Room 5.

Have a Go Day

"Have a Go Day" was a lot of fun.

The sports that the children had a go at were- Rugby league, gymnastics, soccer, netball, hockey and basketball.

A big "Thank you" to the parents who were able to come with us.

Whanau time- risk taking

We had lots of fun today playing a game where you had to take a calculated risk to gain as many points as you could for your team.

Today the Marzipan Drama group performed for us. Great work everyone.
