St John

Today we had Belinda from St John come and talk to us. We learnt how to dial 111 in an emergency and what to say on the phone to the Controller. Thanks Belinda it was lots of fun and we learnt alot.

We had a treat today with Alex (Jasmine's brother) demonstrating his drums for us and explaining about different beats. Thank you Alex it was very informative and enjoyable.

Working together!

The children in Room 3 had lots of fun working together at lunch time. Look at what they made.

Reuben and Alyssa have made some great things with a Brain Box set. Reuben made a boat that floated in water and Alyssa made a propeller fly off her creation.

At Wanaka Connor found a wasp nest. It was interesting to see the layers of the nest.

Jayde showed us a great experiment of how to move a coin out when a match is sitting on top of it.

Cricket Fun.

The Year 3 children went to Logan Park today for cricket. They had lots of fun and enjoyed telling us what they did. Thank you to all of the people who transported the children and looked after them in there.
