Congratulations

Well done to Keira who competed in a swimming carnival in the weekend and gained lots of placings and to Annalyse who had a go at the mud run and won a spot prize.

St Mary's Fair

A big "Thank you" to all of the parents, family and friends who made the fair such a great day.
The feedback from the children today has been great and the weather wasn't mentioned!!

Today we took part in Shakeout so that we know what to do in an earthquake.

Room 5 and 6 Assembly

Toitu Museum and Dunedin Art Gallery Visit

At Toitu, who chose Scottish names, and pretended to be early settlers who sailed to Dunedin looking for land to farm. This theme continued at the art gallery, where we learnt about the first ships into Dunedin, before using fabric to construct our sailing ship.

We had a wonderful day and the art looks amazing hanging up in Room 5.

Have a Go Day

"Have a Go Day" was a lot of fun.

The sports that the children had a go at were- Rugby league, gymnastics, soccer, netball, hockey and basketball.
